FAQS

What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?

CBT is a practical, evidence-based approach designed for those who want to take an active role in their mental well-being. Rather than just discussing the past, we focus on the here and now, working together to identify the specific thought patterns that influence how you feel and act.

Through this collaborative process, you can develop a personalized toolkit of strategies—such as cognitive reframing and behavioral shifting—to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity. While every individual's journey is unique, the objective is to provide you with the skills and autonomy to become your own best advocate, transforming your internal dialogue from a source of judgment into a foundation for resilience.

How long does CBT take?

The length of your therapeutic journey is a collaborative and highly individual decision, shaped entirely by your personal goals and the complexity of what you wish to explore. Some clients engage in focused, short-term work to navigate specific life transitions or build immediate coping skills, while others choose an ongoing partnership to dive deeper into long-standing patterns and self-discovery. Because growth is not linear, we will continuously check in on your progress and adjust our approach to ensure the pace feels right for your unique needs. Ultimately, the duration of our work is guided by your evolving objectives and what you feel is necessary to support your lasting well-being.
